The artist has donated the entirety of his £25k award cash to the MVT, which operates to save the Britain's grassroots live music spots.
The star was presented with the prize on 16 October as his third album his work was named the outstanding release of the last 12 months.
The musician has decided to donate the funds to the MVT, in recognition of the crucial part small stages played in his beginning days.
"I would not have achieved this success if it wasn't for all the shows I did around the area, and beyond, when I was beginning," said Fender. "These locations are renowned, but they are struggling."
Beginning in 2023, over 150 of these venues have shut down – roughly 16 percent of the entire UK sector.
Over the past year, major artists such as Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all backed the trust in its initiatives to support the industry, by including a modest fee to their admission fees, which goes to help smaller concert halls.
Fender also joined in, collecting over £100k on his 2024 arena tour to support thirty-eight grassroots venues across Britain.
The donation assisted venues that were facing potential shutdown due to challenges stemming from water damage, blazes and family tragedies, as well as regulatory hurdles, court cases and sound issues.
Additional spaces received monetary aid in modernizing amenities and gear that positively impacted musicians and fans.
"The notion that revenue from performances in large arenas backs the independent spots, where it all starts for artists like me, is just common sense," Fender has said.
Fender is not the first artist to contribute his honor funds to good deeds.
Back when they won the award in 1996 for their release Different Class, lead singer Cocker declared that the band would give their cash to the non-profit War Child.
In 2002, rapper and singer Ms Dynamite divided her bounty among several organizations, including the children's charity and a charity for Sickle Cell.
"Additionally, I contributed a thousand pounds to the center, to their classes, because I did gymnastics when I was a child and they lacked better apparatus," she shared with a publication.
Two years ago, the band donated their prize money to the local youth club that supported their act, as well as other local music groups.
Also the 1994 recipients M People donated their award to a charity for MS after a acquaintance was identified with the disease.
"Receiving the award was sufficient," said artist Heather Small. "The cash was the cherry on top but we could do without the bonus, because we had the cake. So our success affected the lives of others."
Last week, the Music Venues Trust revealed it had rescued two grassroots venues in that region, by transferring them to local control.
The first in Southampton and the other in that location were purchased under the community ownership initiative, which is funded by the arts council and enthusiasts who acquire "ownership units" in the properties.
